I'm 30+6 and exactly the same, although I have had 2 plugs lost and bleeding. I have no appetite and just feel sick constantly, bk ache and pressure, extreme fatigue and exhaustion. Belly aches and pains and extremely painful regular braxton hicks.woke me up last night :( belly was going so hard it was unbearable, I live off paracetamols (blush)

I hope so! The nausea is unreal! I am also having a lot of upper back pain, behind my ribs, its agony. Is that normal? Can't remember it with my first...his ppregnancy was a breeze!!

VikingLady · 21/02/2012 10:57

I had that, and am still getting it at 36w. It seems to come and go, and the mw said it is just the luck of the draw that some women get this and others don't.

i have read that if you have more than 4 braxton hicks in a hour even if they not painfull you should call ur dr. does anyone know if that counts if u have more than 4 for a couple of hours but then not for a few hours?

I had these from about 31 weeks in my third pregnancy, and this time things seem to be going the same way. The BH get stronger with each baby.

I had them while on the monitor and they were so strong I was kept in overnight just incase it was early labour, but they stopped after about five hours. I wasn't advised to go back in if I had more than four tms4891.
The consultant did say that having these can often mean you have a very short first stage labour and my third was definately my shortest.

But I can have 4 in an hour, no problem! They are nearly constant on the way back from the shops!

tms4891 He was born at 38 weeks. I know what you mean about little sharp pains I have had those quite a bit, one MW suggested they could be stretching pains.

does anyone know if mucus plug is a clear slime (sorry lol) that happens over about a week mainly when you wipe after going the toilet x

That just sounds like discharge. My mucus plug had blood in it, and was a noticeable size, not just a wipe iyswim.

I was admitted to hospital this time with threatened premature labour - they said to call back if mine got to one every 10 mins and increasing strength.

I often have the equivalent of one every 10 mins (i.e. 6 in an hour) but not increasing strength and duration, and not constantly over more than a couple of hours, so they've said it's fine.

notso · 23/02/2012 10:54

Agree with ImpYCelyn , you will know for sure if it's a 'show', can be quite alarming in size and often blood streaked or pinkish.
