How squashable are bumps??!!

I wondered this when I was pregnant with dd and ds but had no MN then!!

Last night in bed I was lying on my side watching tv and was getting a whole load of kicks right underneath me on the side I was lying on... as if to say 'Get off me you big Heffalump!!'
This morning I've put my jeans on just out of the wash so they're a bit tight and am getting kicked right down on the waistband!

Just made me wonder how much they do or don't get squashed in there!!

My bump gives me a good kicking if I balance a cup on it, so I think some babies are less tolerant of squashing than others!

i think it depends on the baby. when I was pg with the dts, dt1 refused to be laid on. So I had to sleep on my left side so that dt1 was on top of dt2 ifyswim. dt2 didn't seem bothered!

mine kicks a lot if I lay on my sides - but it's tough as laying on my back's too uncomfortable! lol.

gettin an ache in my right side thou - no idea why.
