Hi everyone,
I'm nearly 7 weeks pregnant and am feeling rubbish. When I wake up I normally feel o.k but come afternoon time I feel dizzy and really ill. Sickness normally starts in the evening but hasn't been too bad.
Just wondering when the hangover feeling starts to fade.
I have had quite a difficult pregnancy so far and have had 2 scans already, heavy bleeding and a kidney infection. Have seen a strong heartbeat and whilst feeling like this is quite reassuring i'm really struggling with it.
Thanks x

How often are you eating? If I don't eat every two hours I get really useless and only, and in the first trimester I'd have to throw up if I went more than three hours without food.

You can get morning sickness at any time of day, and most women get over the worst by the end of the first trimester or so.

How is your blood pressure? Low blood pressure can make you dizzy as well.

Good luck, and ask your doc if unsure.

Wobbly, not only.

Probably not eating that often, don't always feel like it, maybe I should try and eat more.
I have had my blood pressure checked a couple of times in the last few weeks and it has always been fine. Just struggling with ds and work and think i'm feeling a bit sorry for myself. Got a very long way to go too. Thanks

Hopefully you won't feel this bad for long. It is amazing how bad early pregnancy can make you feel.

You will probably be feeling much better in a few weeks. My sickness tends to stop by 10 -11 weeks.

Are you able to rest in the day at all? No wonder you are feeling bad, a kidney infection is nasty.

I think I had just forgotten how it feels. Ds is 5 next week. The sickness is not as bad this time though was sick every day with ds and constantly for first 3 months. Just feels different this time.
I have been signed of work due to all problems but am back tomorrow so I think that is playing on my mind a bit. X

How's it gone today?

jellyspoon · 20/02/2012 13:53

I only did half a day today and that was enough.
I have had a bit more bleeding today but the hospital said they will only scan if it hasn't stopped after 2 weeks.
Have tried to eat more often today but not helped much, been sick quite a few times. Thanks x
