I am 8 weeks pregnant and I have just experienced some bleeding/spotting. It happened immediately after sex last night so I hope it's related and not a mscarriage. Had a little light brown discharge this am too.
Anyone experienced this?

Yes I had this. Neither doctor nor midwife could tell me it was definitely sex but both thought so. Had it again after a coughing fit. Very light spotting. Midwife told me to let her know if continued for a few days, but it didn't. Happened three times in total but LO was happy and fine at the scan. If you are worried or it continues get it checked out.

I had it too.. I flapped and called the midwife.. Who said it was normal and as long as its not LOTS of blood or follows by pain it's fine.. It happened a good few times tbh.. Hope you are ok

Thank you. Touch wood not had anymore bleeding. Am having some pain but bowel related I think.
Will probably ring midwife or doctors tomorrow.

Found a little more mucusy blood. Really want it to stop.

Ah, mine did that too. There is actually nothing you can do though at the moment. Relax and take care of yourself and speak to your doctor/midwife when you can if you feel you need to. Smile

Well its still there but not a bad. Have to ring in morning for gp appointment and hopefully a referral to EPU.

Have been referred to EPU so hopefully will have some good news. If not at least I will know.

Easy to say but try not to panic. I had this with DD (now 18mo) not just after sex but at other random times during first 12 - 14 weeks. I was eventually diagnosed as having cervical erosion. Didn't affect my pg with DD at all (other than the worrying) and hasn't stopped me conceiving DC2, although have had lots more bleeding with this pg than DD but early scan says all is fine, just my dodgy cervix again.

Back from EPU and there was a heartbeat. So pleased and thank you for your replies.
