Labour dreams anyone?

I'm pregnant with DC2 (rather soon after having DS!) and have had a few labour dreams recently; in one I was just in my own bed feeling vague discomfort and thinking I ought to get to hosp, in another I was in this strange school/institution sort of place and was wandering around dimly-lit room while two midwives kept me company. Never got as far as major pain or active birth, just the early contracting bit.

In all cases I've woken up and remembered I'm only at 17 weeks and that labour is a bit far off! However I am getting paranoid that the dreams will somehow trigger an early labour (irrational, illogical, ridiculous I know, but the fear remains).

Anyone else had bizarre labour dreams?

Had one a few weeks ago, but it was quite distressing, probably subconscious fear that my second birth will end up in EMCS like my first. It all turned out alright in the dream because MIL (who passed away 6 months ago) turned up and calmed everything down. Didn't set off early labour, I am now 38+5 and baby still hanging in there :)

That's reassuring! I'm guessing that mine are probably anxiety-related (had a 3rd degree tear with 1st and really not sure I want a VB this time round as I don't want to tear more)...

One amusing this is that if you google pregnancy/labour dreams, one page comes up saying 'Dreaming that you are pregnant rarely means you are pregnant.' In this case I beg to differ!!
