Anyone had a scan at 16wks?

Well had a scan today I'm 16weeks booked the scan private and wow what a big shock our dc3 is a boy I'm so excited. I honestly thought it was a girl. How many of you have had a scan at 16weeks and found out sex and was correct? I'm still trying to get my head around it :)

We had 16 week scan and looked like a boy confirmed at 20 week scan.

Congratulations I found out at 16 weeks I was having twin boys, I really wanted two boys, so very happy.

Thanks for the reply I should really take it in as the lady doing scan actually gave me pic of the bits :) within seconds she said I just seen a quick glance and then went back to it. I asked her how sure and she said 99%.

Yup - the sonographer said they often couldn't tell gender at 16 weeks. As she said it, we all saw very clearly what could only be boy bits and she burst into laughter. There was no option to keep it a secret at that point. Confirmed at 20 week scan and birth!!!!

Congrats! I found out at 16 weeks with 3 of mine and all were correct :) Found out some of others at 20 weeks and they were correct too!

i had a scan at 17 weeks and asked; the consultant said she couldnt tell, then he moved and she beamed '99% certain its a boy now'; i knew that anyway ;-)

Wow thanks for all the responses I honestly thought they wouldn't be able to tell as even at 20wks with dd1&dd2 they said possible of a girl. X

I found out at 16 weeks I was having a boy. I got it double checked last week (29 weeks) at a 4d scan just encase and it was deff a boy!
