DD (6) was cuddled up in bed with me this morning. I felt baby move and a second later she said she'd felt it too. She pointed to the exact place I'd felt the movement. DP has also insists he's felt it when he's been cuddled up to me at night.

I'm only 15 weeks and as my midwife so delicately puts it I'm fat Grin. Can they really be feeling it yet? It seems incredible even though this baby seems to have much stronger movements than I remember in my other 2 pregnancies.

Yes they could :) even when I still felt things as quite small flutters I asked my husband if he could feel them and he put his hand on my bump and then pointed to where he felt the movements, I hadn't told him where baby was but it was the same place! Even now at 29 weeks he can sometimes feel funny movements that I don't because of how baby is lying or the placenta being in the way

My OH quite often feels movements that I dont even feel, or I can see my tummy really wriggling and not feel it so I would say that if you felt it then you can be pretty certain that she did as well

At my 16 week appt the midwife was shocked to feel ds moving and doubly shocked when she stood back and realised she could see him too.

Well DP felt baby again this morning and was able to point to the exact right spot.

I've been feeling baby since about 11 weeks. I can only assume baby has more energy than I do at the moment since I'm barely moving at all Grin
