Might be worth calling labour ward and see what they think. My first labour started as almost constant period pain.

Phone your midwife, sometimes you don't feel tightenings , just get achy legs or period pains , when you go into labour .

It's always better to be checked out , if in pain.

I'm 36 weeks today and have woken up with the same :( The dc seem fine so I very much doubt it's food poisoning which is what it feels like. I've been having constant period type pains and nausea for 2 days now, but I have been extremely run down and emotional, letting things get to me. I've had a shower and plan to just relax and see what happens. Hopefully it's nothing as I still have another week before I'll be allowed to use the midwife unit rather than labour ward, which I want to avoid like the plague. On the bright (and tmi) side, it's good practice for breathing through discomfort Hmm

I have to say it does sound like maybe you baby is ready!!

I had a really sore back and period pain when I was in early labor. Having never done it before i wasn't 100% sure what the heck was going on. If I was you, I'd put my feed up and have some food. You might be in for a long night.

Good luck, very exciting Smile

i have just had sum food and now i am resting but seems like the pain has gone but it seems like every time i walk it cums on. i cant work it out

Hi Kelly, I'd take it easy and try and get a good night sleep. As really baby could arrive any time from now.

Might be worth calling your GP/MW and asking for an appointment tomorrow if you're still feeling 'effy'
