I had ONE day off last week because I couldnt stop vomiting, in the last 8 months have had that and a week off at 12 weeks due to bleeding, signed off by the doctor and Ive been treated like a skiving lepper since its making me so angry

I havent modified my work role in any way, I still do as much as everyone else (bit slower these days thanks to SPD, but it gets done) Im the first in and the last out so I feel really really pissed off and totally like not going back for the five weeks I have left

Anyone got any tips to stop me murdering the whole office? and is anyone having the same problems?

When are you due to go on mat leave? Have you got any leave you can take in the meantime?

Hotpotpie · 17/02/2012 12:35

28th March - thats using all my leave to bring it forward :( I need to take up yoga or something I feel positively murderous today - hormones really arent helping

Yikes, that's a long time, when are you due?

Lots of chocolate is the only way forward, as is thinking 'sod it' and taking some non-pregnancy-related sick leave if you're feeling really awful.

Zanzicat · 17/02/2012 12:49

Could your doctor sign you off for a bit?

Hotpotpie · 17/02/2012 12:50

9 weeks, I like the chocolate idea, for medicinal purposes obviously!

dont think I dare take any more time off after the attitude I returned to for a genuine day off crikey, the boss has done nothing but dump work on me since inbetween little passive-aggressive comments (god Im a wuss lol)

Kill them. It's clearly the only way.

(or slag them off on here..)

If you hear about a pregnant nutter going on the rampage up north then you know Ive cracked, buggers have been knicking my food and drink off my desk (select few, do it to everyone in the office they think its ok but never replace it) and ive found myself after some encouragement on here leaving chocolate laxatives at my desk instead - no way did I ever think anyone would fall for that and yet there it is gone

Its the little things that make it more bearable ha ha Wink

Bwaahahaha - chocolate laxitives? Excellent! Grin

But Angry at the tossers stealing the food from your desk.. I don't think anybody in my office would dare because they know I would kill them

Hotpotpie · 17/02/2012 14:44

breadForMyBREADGUN some evil souls in AIBU encouraged my evil side - ive still to try the other one, bottle of apple tango left in the fridge, wait till its been drank (I guarantee it will be) and then run in the office all a fluster asking has anyone seem my urine sample Im late for the midwife, not sure I have the pelvic floor control left to cope with that one!!!

Oh, I think I saw that! Yes, def remember the urine sample one!

I think you should leave a bottle that is mostly tango/part urine sample in the fridge - that would really make you feel better [evil]
