Here is the dilema, and I know there is no straight answer but time but after a bit off "it'll be ok"

I am 9 weeks gone with my first baby (yey), I am getting married on the 12th May (yey).

I ordered my dress back in October which I love love love. But OMG its not going to fit now is it??? or is it??? I have no idea how big I will be as Ive never been pregers before. I know some women by 5 months are huge and some are tiny - I know not what I will be. But what the heck do I do? Hope and pray it fits and risk running round like a nutter in April looking for another? Here is the sensible option, talk to the shop and the dress maker. Im going up in two weeks to try it on so i guess I will see what they say. Im a couple of pounds lighter now than my initial try on so have my fingers and toes crossed haha.
Sorry Im a stresser haha

How far gone will you be then?

Wow, getting married and having a baby. Congratulations x 2!

I think you need to speak to the shop and dressmaker. It's probably not the first time it has happened. I don't know whether your current dress can be altered or whether you will need to pick an alternative one but I am sure that you will look gorgeous and have a wonderful day regardless.

I'm 17 weeks and have a visible (to me and partner) bump, noone who doesn't know has commented, but I am big and have lost weight over the last 14 months so I wonder if those I haven't seen for a while just don't know how small I had got!

Hopefully someone with experience of getting dresses fitted whilst pregnant will be along soon!

You will be about 20-22 weeks, so you will be at least a little bigger than normal, depends really on how big you were to start with.
I didn't show with my first until 28 weeks.
Bigger women tend to show less until after 20 weeks, and also, is your dress a corset back, that you can adjust?
Or could you possibly find a good seamstress to put a small panel into the back that would suit the dress?
Oh and congratulations btw!

Wow, huge congrats. If I were you i'd just speak to the shop, they can work wonders! And from personal experience, I didn't show at all till I was 28 weeks, and then only looked like i'd had a big dinner!

Haha time will tell I guess, I'm a size 12 around my middle but boobs mean I wear a size 14 shirt - the dress was ordered in a 14 for this reason (just as well as they feel huge now haha)
The dress is a corset style but with a zip at the back - I hadnt thought of a pannel thats a fab idea :)
Thanks for all the congrats its all a bit overwhelming at the min....struggle to concentrate on the wedding as just really fancy a dose hehehe :)
