sorry but no-one else to sound off at.

26 weeks today. Had bad headaches for 2 days (constant), SPD & PPP is killing me, face and feet are bloated and I look like a puffer fish, feeling generally nauseas and generally fed up.

thanks for listening.

Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

nailpolish · 25/01/2006 14:26

is there any way you could go for a nice bath?

helsi · 25/01/2006 14:28

oh dear i know the feeling. getting stuck in the bath is no laughing matter. do you have a shower? i once got a garden chair and sat on it in the shower

helsi · 25/01/2006 14:33

lol nailpolish - but i couln't even lift it up the stairs! I physically cannot lift my legs high enough to step into the bath (which is where the shower is).

have you got one of these belts from the physio? i had one but ive given it to someone else (mind you they only help a teeny bit)

GOD i really feel for you

helsi · 25/01/2006 14:37

yes I have the belt and 2 elbow crutches. I am going to see the physio in a week and a half for further pain management. We are going away on holiday next week and have had to hire a wheelchair as there is no way I can walk much distance.
I am also taking co-codomol but restricted to amount per 24 hours. I sleep with a pillow between my knees.

omg i didnt realise it was so bad. my physio wanted to give me the elbow crutches, but i didnt really need them. i had a nightmare cos i was looking after a toddler at the same time

i remember i was offered an early induction too if things got too bad

i hope you manage to have a decent holiday, and maybe you could treat yourself to a glass of wine while on holiday?

whre are you off to?

helsi · 25/01/2006 14:46

it is that bad and am off work atm too which doesn;t help as I feel guilty. I ahve a 3 year old to look after and to be honest the crutches and belt are rubbish.

we are going to st annes.
