12 weeks scan/misscarage

Hi, this is post from my self and my wife, we are having a 12 week scan today, we are both very nervous due to my wife having a misscarage and a moler pregnancy last year. We have never got this far, we did have a 8 week scan and it all seem normal, but there was a dark patch outside the sac.

Has anyone been in a similar situation? We are so nervous.

If you had a scan at 8weeks and saw heartbeat the chances are everything will be fine. All the best

I don't suppose you know from your experience last year, are molar pregs genetic? And were there any early signs? My Mum had one and I'm a bit nervous and I am unusually sick now, and looking quite tanned....at 7 weeks!

I'm not sure about the genetic thing, if you go on the moler pregnancy website there is lots of information there, our moler pregnancy had no early signs just very high hormone level. I believe we were just very unlucky. I'm sure all is well.
