Has anyone been induced at Pembury

I'm now 13 days overdue (miserable) and booked in to be induced on Thursday night at Pembury, I was booked to go to Maidstone Birthing centre as I wanted a water birth and my OH to be able to stay with me (1st baby). I just wondered if anyone knew if he was allowed to stay with me at Pembury? Apparently I won't go in till about 8ish and from what I've heard that's the end of visiting hours so will he just have to drop me off an leave? I'm terrified and the thought of not having him with me is awful.

I was induced there with my first preganxy. Dh wasn't allowed to stay with me after the pessary was in but I went into labour quite quickly and they called him at about 6am to come back in. It doesn't always work first time or get going v quickly. It was hard without him but I was v impressed with the hospital apart from that and at least h had one more nights sleep so was in a better state to cope afterwards than I was. Not sure if you really have a choice?
