Dating scan

Hello. I am wondering if anyone knows how much notice the NHS give for the dating scan. I am 11+2 and I haven't heard anything yet. I contacted my community midwife, who did my booking in appointment, and she said she didn't know. I am feeling quite anxious about not knowing. Our previous pg ended in mc at 9 wks but we got the scan date notification 2 days after the mc so much earlier than this time.

I think it varies hugely from one hospital to the next. Mine was booked over the phone by the midwife at my booking in appointment, but I know the next hospital over the midwife puts in a request and they send out an appointment letter at some point.

If you're concerned I'd phone the hospital direct and see if they can help out at all. And/or phone the midwife team again and hope you can speak to someone different so you can ask them how they will contact you and if they can check you haven't been 'lost' in the system somewhere.
