Been feeling very off today..nausea and belly ache. At about 2 o'clock this afternoon I have been having pains, times where I did feel very hard and tight..feeling of pressure.anyway thought I'd have a bath..when I was in the bath I wiped myself down there and there was blood on my hand(tmi sorry -was obviously watered down) I jumped straight out and put white pants on to keep eye out (got no pads). There's only a smallish amount of pink blood on my pants, I'm having pains still I have felt baby moving. I have very bad back ache. I feel very hot and flustered..felt urge to go for(tmi) poo. I did, was normal.any ideas...I have bugged midwives and doctors so much this pregnancy so don't want to be a hassle :(

Call the midwife. They are there to answer your questions. You are not being a hassle, they are being paid to do a job. You are worried and the most important thing is that you and the baby are ok.

Definitely call. Now. I'm sure you are fine but I don't believe in messing around where blood and pregnancy are concerned

TessTickular · 14/02/2012 18:53

Please call immediately. I have had two pregnancies when this happened. One I did nothing and it ended in tragedy. The other I called and all was fine. I know my referred outcome.

Don't mean to alarm you. But call.

Fisharefriendsnotfood · 14/02/2012 18:58

For gods sake would you rather 'bother' someone paid to answer your question with a phone call or possibly put your unborn baby at risk?? CALL

confuzed90 · 14/02/2012 19:15

I have phoned L + D, got to moniter myself over the next hour and see how things go then phone her back. Thankyou

That's what these people are here for. Don't worry about bothering anyone in these circumstances. Hope all is well. Call and be very pushy if needs be.

Never feel that you are disturbing/bothering them. I was feeling really unwell a few weeks ago and had not felt Harry move for about a day. I called the delivery suite at the hospital and they said to come over and have it checked out.

We got there and they were great, the midwife told be off for waiting so long and that anything like that needs checking. They would rather you go and get monitored and it be nothing than ignore it and it being serious.

The lovely MN are always right. Smile

Thankyou all, I came to hospital last night, been kept in and should be going home tomorrow. Had a scan and baby is fine but can't find where that blood came from. Got to keep and eye out but just went for shower and had a bit of a show. Showed midwife. Got to keep an eye out x
