nuchal fold

I have just come back from my 12 week scan. All was fine which was a real relief but the nuchal measurement was 2.9mm (I'm 12+4). With ds it measured 1.3mm and I'm concerned that this is above normal.

Anyone have any experiences of this or words of wisdom??

Mine was 3.2mm at 13+3. I was worried sick about it, but anything under 3.5mm is within normal range. My combined blood+scan results came back as very low risk (around 1:25000) so try not to worry.

The Dr would have told you if they were concerned, and felt they needed to act on it so do not worry but if you are contact your midwife.

I have had experiance of a high nuchal fold it was 9.20, which is considered high, I saw a consultant immediatly who discussed it with my husband and I. Piggymad is right 2.9mm is fine.
