Hi, I'm thinking of buying this for our first baby and using the Pebble car seat with it. Was going to get an iCandy Peach but find iCandy difficult to deal with. Any advice???

I have both and i love both, not very helpful sorry Grin

When are you due because the City Mini GT is out later this year and it has a moveable handle, thats my only issue really the handle hight I'm 5.6 and its not a comfortable hight for me but 6ft DH loves it, also the soft carrycot for the mini is brill for newborn, not sure about car seat though.

I have a pebble and it feels very safe on my Peach and i find the smoothness of the peach great, love that it feels very solid as well.

We have just bought the BJCM for our first baby (due in May) after a lot of research. We felt it was the best on the market in relation to our criteria, which was:

  • Fits in a small car boot
  • Compact and light for carrying up stairs to our flat
  • Compact enough to store in our small flat
  • Easy to fold and store on public transport
  • Compatible with maxi-cosi car seat
  • High enough handles for my 6'4" DH

I'm still undecided on whether to get the carry cot so I'd be interested to hear other opinions on how the seat works for a newborn. I feel the carry cot will be used for such a short time it may not be worth the money, but I'm not sure what the alternative is for a summer baby (in the winter I'd get a cosy footmuff). We're getting the cabriofix car seat, just because it's cheaper and seems very similar to the Pebble. Are there other advantages to the Pebble?

We didn't bother with a carry cot for the BJCM, but she was our second!

Not too sure in differences between cabriofix and pebble!! Am now looking at Baby Jogger City Elite 2012 which is a brand new for this year. I was not planning on getting a carry cot as it almost folds flat and can use maxi cosi for short trips out. Such a mine field!!!!

Baby Jogger Due out later this year. I think by far Baby Joggers best offering.

We've got the BJCM, its fine except for the annoying fixed handle. Got a cheapo BJCClassic second hand as well which looks like a bus but handles better and goes off road so now we have one for urban and one for other.

If I was buying now I would look at the Elite, although the GT does look interesting.

Have you considered the nipper 360? We have one and I find it much more manoeuvrable and lighter. It's not as easy to collapse, but that hasn't been an issue for me.
