Ok I'm 20 weeks so when do I start blooming and stop puking?

I know this has been done to death and I know what I really want is someone to come along with a crystal ball but really I just need a bit of sympathy.

This is my 4th pregnancy but only have 1 DC and with all the others I stopped retching and feeling exhausted at 16 weeks and went back to normal. This time I'ms till heaving badly and in bed at 9 and napping in the afternoon.

It's really getting me down - DD starts school in Sept and we've been able to do nothing at all since November and I feel like I'm missing out on the last few months of free time we have together. Luckily I'm a SAHM as god knows how I'd work.

So has anyone still been ill at 20 weeks and NOT gone on to puke til the end - I really need a bit of hope that it's going to tail off.

Hi cathy, I'm afraid I can't offer you any help, just lots of sympathy. I have been very lucky not to get any of the sickness, but I am also in bed at 9 and napping whenever I can at 20 weeks. Don't get down about spending time with DD, she is young enough just to appreciate having mum around, even if you are wiped out on the sofa! Fingers crossed that things will get better for you - have you had your 20 week scan? Maybe you could bring up your concerns then, or contact your midwife team.
