So, here it is,
I am preg with dc2 after being diagnosed with PCOS and put on Clomid. I tested positive early Jan and as my ovulation was being monitored, I'm pretty sure I'm about 8weeks.
Here's the thing, I had brown discharge a few weeks ago and had a scan with EPU they said too early to see HB but they say a healthy sack and yolk and was told to come back in 2 weeks for a follow up scan (that will be this Wed) however, last Thurs, I started bleeding like a period (no pain, no clots) and have been bleeding since.
Has anyone been in a similar situation that can offer words of wisdom or advice??
thanks x

Sorry, what is PCOS? I've had b;eeding in both pregnancies which really reaked me out and phoned the midwife immediately - have you called them. Mine was nothing to worry about but I was glad to be checked out and for the reassurance x

I had bleeding. It was a cervical erosion.

Thanks for the replies.
PCOS is Policystic Ovary Syndrome.
I have had an early scan because I had brown discharge but I'm going back for another scan tomorrow.

Ah, thats what I thought you meant but wanted to check. I have polycystic ovaries and not sure if that would be a cause of bleeding. I also have the cervical erosion that SaggyOldClothCatPuss mentions - and was quite relieved when I was given this as an explanation for my last bout of bleeding. Its always nice when they have an explanation for it.
I wouldnt worry too much about the bleeding, I've had to ring several times and they always ask whether I have any severe cramping pain so I think they would be more concerned if you had that as well. Hope your scan goes well tomorrow x

Thanks PinkPanther. I'm trying to keep optimistic as I have no pain and that seems to be the thing that they're looking for as you said. I'll know soon enough now though.

Good luck with your scan... I had bleeding on and off for the first 16 weeks of my pregnancy and have been through what you're going through. I had 8 bleeding episode in total often heavy and had scans every time. Everything was fine in the end and they never could pinpoint why or from where I was bleeding, the key thing they said to me was they weren't worried because I had no pain at all.

Good luck for today.

Hey monkeybananas, hope all's well?

Didnt want to read and run. I am currently 4 weeks off giving birth, I bled for two and a half weeks from 6 weeks pregnant. I had a scan at 6 weeks and could see a tiny pulsation which was the heartbeat. Had another scan at 9 weeks and then a routine one at 12. It's a scary time but try to stay positive, this is my DD2 but have previously had 3 mc's. Take care.
