At my 34 week midwife appt she asked me where i'd like to give birth and as it's a midwife led unit she said she could make my 36 week appt there to have a look around etc. I've had a letter thru today from my hospital saying i've been booked an appt with the obstetric team and please bring along any medication I use?? The appointment letter i've had thru today is for the same day and time that my midwife made my 36 week appt for but why would I be seeing obstetric team at hospital and not use mid wife led unit i'm going to give birth in?? What is an obstetric team? Could something be wrong? Thanks
