Hi All,
I was hoping someone could give me thri input as to whether a water infection would cause bloody discharge.
I have had two water infections and am only 12.5 weeks pregnant! :( I have recently came off of keflex, I had alot of old blood earlier part of pregnancy but this stopped at 6.5 wks and I had a scan and all was ok. I had a scan on Thursday last week and all was good, legs kicking, healthy heartbeat etc but then on the afternoon I had a mass of reddy/browny discharge after I went to the toilet. This happened just the once and there was no pain associated with it. I again had this once on Friday and then Saturday I had a cramp like pain across abdomen, went after a couple of mins but scared me cause other than a few niggles this was worst pain Id had.
I have noticed though slight discomfort down below (sorry for tmi) and at times am not urinating as much as normally would. I dont know if I'm trying to believe this to feel better or whether those symptoms can just be related to a uti and my infection hasnt gone, or has raised its ugly head again!!???
Can you get such discharge or pain with uti's? I'm off to docs this afternoon to hand in sample anyway but as I started to loose my anxiousness this happens and I;m back to square one!
