Bleeding during pregnancy

Hi basically guys I'm 7 weeks and abit pregnant and I've discovered some bleeding and I was wondering is it normal or not? On thursday I wiped myself and there was VERY light blood and I just thought it was normal then on friday-saturday I had bright red blood and on saturday I had tiny red clots but I had no pain or cramps in my belly? Then today the blood was a reddy brown colour?
And I was just wondering does anyone know what it is or what has happened? Or what I could do?

Firstly, congratulations on your pregnancy :)

I had very light bleeding at 7 weeks and again at 10 weeks. The first time I phoned my Dr and made an appointment for that day, he refferred me to my Early Pregnancy Unit for a scan. The Midwives were lovely and supportive. The scan showed that I had a tear in my cervix and that was causing the bleeding. It was so reassuring to see the heartbeat though.

At 10 weeks I just phoned the EPU directly and they got me in for another scan, again it was the tear.

By my dating scan at 13 weeks it had completely healed.

I'd say phone your doctor first thing tomorrow and they should refer you for a scan xx
