I need a moan

I really need a moan tonight. I am 21 weeks and I have a sore throat. I've also got a headache and I am knackered.

I just want to take some strong painkillers, drink some lemsip and go to bed. DS1 also is unwell, I think we have the same thing as he is complaining about a sore throat. DS2 is fine and full of beans as usual.

DP works away and isn't due home until the end of March so I can't even rest. I know if he was here he would just send to bed to have a rest and a nap.

I don't really expect many replies but I really really needed to have a moan about it.

Oh Kayzr that is really crappy. You are quite right to moan.

Kayzr that is the worst thing about pregnancy - not being able to take ANYTHING really except paracetamol! I am also suffering with a horrid head cold and sore throat and am 16 wks preg with 2nd baby.
My 17 month old also has it and although hubby not away he leaves the house at 6:30 and not home til 8pm. It SUCKS that your hubby is away til March!!!!! I'd go round the bend!!

Hope you start to feel better soon - half term as well - at least you can stay in and keep warm and have some duvet days with any luck? Hope you start to feel better soon!

Yeah I think we might be able to have some duvet days. I want some ibruprofen and to be able to stay in bed all day.

I just had 3 ill days,I went for my 20 week scan on wednesday feeling fine and came out with a water infection a chest infection (which I had prob had for ages but just thought it was just a bunged up nose) and the highest blood pressure I have ever had.I started my anti biotics and then within 2 hours felt like I wanted to give up.todays the first day I have been up.

take some parocetomol and drink plenty of water,I know that doesnt help with the weeing but you need to be hydrated.

Babygsmummy, that sounds horrid. I had a water infection when I was pregnant with DS2 and it was dreadful. I hope you feel better soon too.

thanks kayzr.I actully feel human since this later part of today,just in time to go back to work,typical been on two weeks holiday.

DS2 was up most of the night coughing and when he finally went to sleep I couldn't sleep.

I have awful heartburn and the gaviscon seems to have stopped working completely now. I am hoping that I can see the dr or mw and get something else.
