Generously cut maternity trousers!

Fairly friviolous ask, I am (obviously) pregnant and just about reaching the stage where I will need some maternity trousers. My problem is I am rather curvy, detest jeggings and have a large arse so anything hipster looks appalling on me! Any reccomendations for where to find maternity trousers in larger sizes?

You need to make sure you get "over the bump" trousers. I hate hipsters too and only bought over the bump maternity wear. Its very comfy

MillyStar · 12/02/2012 18:12

Simply be!

Inthink they start at a 14, I was an 18 pre pregnancy and I've bought 3 pairs and lived in them since about 30 weeks

The basic black trousers from Jojo Maman Bebe, they are cut straight down but pretty flattering. I am size 14 and live in them

mamas and papas has been where i've got most of my stuff and their sizing is really generous! I've gone from being a 16-18 jeans to a 14 and a 18 top to a 12-14!

Next mat jeans are huge! I got a size up from my normal size, and they are like tents :o very very comfy though.

I found crave maternity surprisingly spacious around my massive arse, although tbh because my arse is so big I was still able to wear non-maternity at 35 weeks.

Brilliant! That you for all the tips and advice. I think where I was going wrong was trying stupid, under bump trousers. Does anyone look good in those? I hasten to add my giant arse and I are at peace with each other, which is why I am thinking about it's comfort :) xx
