I'm 25 wks, haven't bought anything yet for the baby. Today I've spotted some lovely second hand furniture - full set i.e. moses basket, cot bed, wardrobe and lots of extras for £395 - I'm so undecided on what to do.

I don't really like tempting fate; plus we dont have anywhere to store this yet as DH will need to convert a room for the baby. On the other hand the stuff looks really lovely, but then again £395 is a lot of money. DH thinks wait until baby arrives but my head spinning off here trying to decide....please can the voice of experience come along and help me....

Buy what you want, when you want.

Buying things won't tempt fate, and not buying them won't make anything bad happening any less likely. I'd buy it if it's what you want and it's at a price you're happy to pay.

Buy it now, you don't want to be rushing around just after giving birth to buy the baby somewhere to sleep.
I had bought everything by 25 weeks Grin

Thanks ladies, I think I'll go and view it, I need to make a start somewhere. Can always get car seat etc next month Smile

Swivel it's up to you when to buy things! Do bear in mind that you need new mattresses for the Moses basket and cotbed though and they're often quite expensive - can really escalate the price of second hand beds.
