Hardly Any Symptoms?!?

Hiya,

I am 6+1 and reading all about the terrible symptoms that I should be getting now...but I'm not. I have painful boobs and that is about it. I am maybe a bit tireder than normal and a bit sicky but I wouldn't be surprised if that is in my head. I have an early scan in 2 weeks due to a prior mc and I am scared stiff that they are going to say there isn't anything there anymore.

Can anyone give me any reassurance or if not tell me what to expect. Am tying myself in knots.

Thanks,

xxx

I didnt get any symptoms until 7 weeks+

And some women get to 12 weeks and beyond without the vaguest inkling they might be pregnant, so presumably they didn't get many symptoms at all!

Hang on in there, and good luck.

I'm 6+1 and you're managing more symptoms than me! This is costing ne a fortune in tests!

Kayzr · 12/02/2012 07:48

I didn't get any symptoms at all with my first 2 pregnancies. Not a single one. So you might not get any.

justlemonade · 12/02/2012 07:52

I have been fairly symptom free this pregnancy too. Now 20 weeks. Try not to worry. X

BabyDustPlease · 12/02/2012 07:52

Thanks ladies! Sassee I keep testing too Confused.

Just over a week ago I was saying the exact same thing. I'm eating my words now!

I have fingers crossed that you are feeling as sick as me soon. Wink

I don't think I had any until about 8 weeks. Plenty of people don't even realise they're pregnant so they mustn't have symptoms either.

BabyDustPlease · 12/02/2012 08:02

Littlepurpleprincess I'll probably be eating my words soon too, just a bit unnerving.

I had hardly any symptoms - boobs a bit sore and a bit tired was about it for most of the pregnancy.

My twins are now 15 months old Grin

I have been constipated and had tiredness but thats all Im 11 weeks. Scan next monday Ill be pleased to see something there so I know how you feel!

PoppyS34 · 12/02/2012 13:00

I've been very light on the symptom-front. I had one day of sore boobs that was very early on, no sickness at all (but nausea), but I did/do have extreme tiredness.

I did six pregnancy tests in 9 weeks, cost me a fortune!

I drove myself silly worry about all the symptoms I should have had, so much so I booked a private scan at 9weeks just to check (all was ok).

At 10wks felt absolutely normal, so started thinking something had gone wrong, but all was present and correct at 12wks scan. :o I'm 15+1 now.

I am still really tired all the time, and also suffer loads from bloating and constipation, so these are more than making up for the lack of sore boobs and sickness.

I did notice a weird sense of smell and had mad dreams, I didn't realise these were symptoms for a while, and my nails grew lovely - they've never been so long and strong, apparently that's another side-effect.

So even if you don't have the 'big' symptoms, you might have a few other indicators that you maybe haven't realised? :)

Congrats and good luck for your scan x x

With my 1st, My boobs grew and that literally was all, I was so relieved when the scan showed there was actually a baby in there and I wasn't a mad woman/ having everyone on!
If you're testing to reassure yourself, at some point ( think its around 12 weeks when placenta in place) they come up negative so don't panic yourself.
My mw with my 2nd also told me not to worry and not to test if morning sickness eased as in some way it reassures you that everything is ok and you kind of miss it.
