I'm 38+4 & yesterday at my appt the MW told me that the baby was fully engaged and it could happen anytime.
So today, in the last hour & half I've had 7 BH's & 2 deeper pains coming round the side of the bump from the pelvis, no sign of waters going as such but I'm feeling a bit damp if you know what I mean.
It's ridiculous, this is my 3rd! You'd think I'd know what was going by now wouldn't you but my last 2 were fairly straight forward waters gushing then contractions..
The thing is I had a false alarm last week & would feel very guilty about getting the MW out again if it's another one. So is it worth getting the MW's involved at this stage or would you leave it & see what happens?

why dont you ring the labour ward thats what I did with my second and they told me to have a bath and see how I felt, then the pains got worse so I rang back and they told me to go in and hour later he was born!! My waters didnt brake with either of my 2, both times the midwife has had to break them. Good luck

How are things going now iwantbrie ?

I'm a bit late, and you may already be decided one way or another, but if it was me I'd time the bh and contractions, to see if they became more frequent or intense, and take it from there.
