Hello all you lovely people, does anyone know/ is there any proof that the birth weight of you and your dp/dh have any bearing on the birth weight of your baby ? I am having my second with a different partner and although my Ds was only 6lb 11 I am dreading this birth as my current partner was a 9lber and I was 10lb. First birth was EMCS have opted for VBAC this time and am beginning to worry about the weight of new baby as am terrified of forceps/ventouse delivery :(

I'm so sorry for waffling If anyone has any idea whatsoever I would really appreciate your input :)

Well I was a 5lber and hubby a 7lber.....my 1st was just under 9lb and my 3rd (born at 37+1 after early induction) was 9lb7oz.......

I'm a bit scared just how big #4 is going to be ShockGrin

I was 8lb4oz, DH was under 6lb (aww)
DS was 8lb8oz

I do believe this may be crap that to an extent its based on the mums diet?
