But im 30 weeks pregnant and for the past week if I eat a meal I either feel nauseaus, am sick or get the most awful (and slightly explosive) upset stomach is anyone else having this problem?

Its really starting to affect my confidence, had a day off work on Tuesday and everyone seems pissed off that I stayed off because I have been vomiting all night (feeling pretty annoyed about that, havent had any time of in months, and regularly work long hours its not like Im a skiver) so feeling like I need to just get on with it

If you are or have experienced it any ideas how I can control it a bit?

pregnancy does horrible things to your bowels. Probably just a stage though, keep some anti diarrhea medicine to hand in case of emergency though- Just to use if you are out in public and going to get caught short. I find I am so stressed it could happen that it will happen.

Yes to all those Hotpot. I found eating small amounts quite slowly helped with the nausea (which is likely a combination of hormones and squashed stomach). Also, don't lie down too soon after eating.

As for the bum bother, cereal like shredded wheat and all bran have helped me enormously. (Though I like the frosted shredded wheat which is a bit naughty).

It's really horrible and hopefully we will both feel better soon.

bum bother love it, thanks ladies, its scaring the life out of me (I mean that in a light hearted way) that ill be on a visit and have to beg to use their loo, I would not want to inflict that on anyone its not exactly professional!

6 weeks left and counting.......

It's okay Hotpot, people will understand if a heavily pregnant woman needs the loo in a hurry. :o

I'm either constipated or have explosive bowels like you describe! I had to use the toilet in a local pharmacy one day, but they just thought it was a little amusing.

I don't have any suggestions, just sympathy. x
