Here here!!

I'm due with my first on 12th April, 9 weeks tomorrow! I finish for maternity on fri 30th march when I'm 38 weeks and I'm hoping she'll make an early entrance that night

Well and truly fed up now

morethemerrier · 08/02/2012 20:55

How lovely, we would like more but space etc rules that out! So having to reluctantly hang up my baby spurs as it were!

It's funny you say that about baby stretching this one has by far been the most active and uncomfortable with jabs and kicks, despite it also being the only one with an anterior placenta!?! Hmm

Do you know what you're having? We chose not to find out, have two DS and one DD looking forward to meeting this little mover!

misdee · 08/02/2012 20:59

no idea what i'm having this time, we have 4 girls and 1 boy. have tried to find out but baby is being very shy and wont let us peek. i also have anterior placenta this time, which means i dont feel a lot of kicks outwardly but am def feeling a bit stretched atm. was breech last week so am hoping all this movement means its moving head down.

any names yet? we cannot decide at all.

Gosh Milly that's dedication no wonder your fed up! I m lucky that I didn't return to work after DS2, but I remember how distracted I was just wanted to absorb all things pregnancy related and couldn't be bothered with work!

Luckily my sister was the Director so was very accommodating of my apathy!

I guess in a way its a welcome distraction, congrats on no 1 btw! Very exciting!

morethemerrier · 08/02/2012 21:08

Really struggling with names, we have traditional with shortened nicknames, but it seems that with our earlier choices we are in danger of ending up with a Royal Family lol! Grin

Quite like Lucy with Lulu as a NN, DH would never allow Lulu in its own right but I love it! Apart from that, this baby will be No4!!! OOOhh maybe Delta, sure that means four in Latin Hmm

How about you?

I have my 32 weeks check on Fri, think its still transverse I can never work out whats where! Having another home water birth so it really needs to be heading down soon!

justhayley · 08/02/2012 22:27

Yep bring on April! I'm due the 28th With DS1 hoping he comes a week or 2 early though, as my DP is in the Army and if I go 4 days over he won't be around Sad

KatAndKit · 09/02/2012 09:39

Please let April come around quickly!!!!

I am not enjoying being pregnant at the moment, I am in a lot of pain and feel virtually housebound with it. Due on the 11th April and it can't come soon enough for me.

misdee · 09/02/2012 09:41

11th april is my birthday :)

just remember we are almost into single figures with weekly countdowns now. whhooop!

SarryB · 09/02/2012 09:44

I'm due April 29th with my first - and that also happens to be my birthday too.

I'm ready to meet Baby now. Another 12 weeks seems like a lifetime!

riamay2011 · 09/02/2012 09:47

Hey!
Im due April 6th so 7 weeks and counting from tomorrow....
Feels like 7 weeks is a life time! I delivered early at 35 weeks with my DD who is now 9 months so very anxious about this one as im fast approaching the 34 week mark when my waters broke. I have to say tho, touch wood this pregnancy has been VERY quiet compared to the last. I had an irritable uterus which meant i was contracting all the time and had a SROM at 29 weeks which they still dont know the reason....
So yes, please may i join you all on the not so comfortable last stretch home and pray these 7 weeks go by quicker than they are doing!! :)
Also, i have a few bits on ebay under MyGorgeousBaby shop if your looking for your little ones....
I also dont know what i'm having......well apart from a baby!
Xx

Maundy Thursday for me...

Can't wish for a little bit early either cause of my sisters wedding! Grin

Hotpotpie · 09/02/2012 11:03

Im due the 20th, can wait for the baby, its my first and labour is giving me conniptions However the six weeks I have left in work cannot go quick enough, I have a list of ailments as long as my arm!

Not long now ladies and then the fun really can start :o

balkanscot · 09/02/2012 11:06

Oh, yes, April!

Due on 17 April, last day at work on 16 March (annual leave), mat. leave starts on 16 April. Finding it very hard to be at work over the past few weeks, feel drained of energy, constipated, completely not motivated to park my bum 8 hours a day at my desk. Have only just ordered a pram and car seat, nothing else, planning to get the hospital bag(s) ready for after 16 March when I'll have more time to think. Right now all I can think about is when can I lie down and sleep/snooze. Everything else seems to be like rocket science.

First baby, a boy, who will be a Croatian-Scottish blend, choosing his name will be fun!

Hotpotpie · 09/02/2012 11:08

Aww Balkanscot thats my birthday excellent due date :o

fragglemummy1 · 09/02/2012 11:13

Here here! I'm due 2nd April and starting to really struggle now - literally counting the days I'm so uncomfortable. Good to know I am not the only one who feels like this as everyone around me keeps telling me to make the most of this time as it only gets harder! SO reassuring!

misdee · 09/02/2012 11:21

belive me, this final stretch is the most draining, and seems to drag because you know you will soon meet your baby.

i hate the last stage. feel like a whale, the tiredness kicks in again, the heartburn and general meh-ness.

i find it easier once the baby is here.

mine cant come early, i have a weekend break booked at end of march/beginning of april, and dont fancy giving birth down on the south coast.

ariane5 · 09/02/2012 11:26

I wish it was april too ! 28 weeks with dc4 but will be having a caesarean at 37 weeks (so sometime in week beginning 16 april). I feel massive (have put on 3 stone), uncomfy and apparently the baby is very big !

We are getting married on 14 april so iam so busy and exhausted-i just cant wait for everything to all be sorted out and to have my baby here-im really not looking forward to another cs so itll be a huge relief when its all over!

DeeBeee · 09/02/2012 11:49

Hotpotpie - I am due on April 20 too with DC1 and at the moment I want it to be April but not want it as starting to be terrified about labour, in equal measures. 4 more weeks of work left after this week and it can't come too soon - a commute, 8 hours at a desk and another commute every day is really taking out of me. And it's hard to focus on work, I have a serious case of baby brain!

stripeyZ · 09/02/2012 12:15

I'm due on the 2nd of April too with our first.

Had a hideous first & second trimester & spent most of it in bed but I seem to be finally having my bloom! Been feeling great the last few weeks...really hope it lasts a bit longer.

Going on maternity leave definitely helped & I'm not missing work at all. Grin

morethemerrier · 09/02/2012 12:22

Ariane that's so nice, maybe you will have an extra guest at your wedding if you go a bit earlier!Grin

How many of us will have a bit of fun on April's Fools day (also happens to be my DH B'Day!) of the ' OOOHhhhhh I think I 'm in labour' fun?

I am officially fed up of having to struggle to pick things up of the floor!!! So, from now on I just get a broom and sweep it all into a big pile for DH to sort when he gets home! Grin

At the moment I have my DD awaiting a Tonsilectomy Op, my DS waiting for Grommit Op, buying a house that needs complete renovation and somewhere in between have a baby! All due to happen in the next 8 weeks!Fun and games!

riamay2011 · 09/02/2012 12:49

I'm due the 2nd too, and April can't come soon enough - SPD, icy winters and a rampaging toddler are not a good mix...

Come and join our April thread on Antenatal, you lot! Grin
