I'm 26 weeks pregnant and I'm getting braxton hicks all the time today..
I've also got a really weird feeling in my fanjo it's like a buzzing feeling like pressure
Does this mean the baby has dropped down there.. It doesn't feel like she is kicking down there because I can feel we kicks up top.. But the pressure is getting uncomfortable !!! Anyone ????

I wouldn't have thought that the baby would have dropped this early yet, it could just be that baby is sitting on a nerve or ligaments stretching. I'm not an expert though so you should probably give your MW a call just to put your mind at rest.

Hi, just to let you know that I have had this same sensation since Christmas. Am 33wks pg now. Is it sort of like a mobile phone on vibrate in your groin, kind of a pulsating sensation?

I did ring the triage line at the time and they had no idea but did say it was nothing to worry about. I then asked my own midwife at my next appointment and she thought it might be the blood flow in the cord or something to do with the placenta. It is very odd though and I'm still getting it sporadically, especially if I do a lot of activity. I find that if I shift positions a bit then it seems to stop.

Also, have a look on Baby Centre, I have the app on my I phone and I think I read something vaguely reassuring on there.. I did start a thread on here about it too..

Hope this helps Smile

i had a fanny thing last night it is like I have to press my bits and it is a really really deep pain type thing with tingling, sorry crap description but I think it might be similar. Had it loads at end of 1st tri and last night was first in ages. weird.

ooh, buzzing, yes! My BH in previous pregnancies was exactly that. the buzzing used to go down the fronts of my thighs a bit too.

Does it come and go, or stay all the time?

If it last for a few seconds then eases, could it be BH?
