Measuring smaller than two weeks ago??

Anyone know why this would be? My midwife wasn't that concerned about it - she said that as long as I was feeling lots of movement, which I am, then try not to worry. But has anyone experienced this or had any explanation from midwives / obs?

I am 36 weeks now. At my 34 week appt I was measuring 31 weeks , and now I'm measuring 30! Head is down and the baby is lying with its spine up the left hand side, as far as she could tell..

Whats happening??!

Its all very odd this measuring malarky!!! I was 24 weeks measured at 27cm.....shrunk at my 28 week apt to 26cm then went to hospital for ctg at 30 weeks and measured 32?!?!?

I dont feel like I've grown but my MW isnt overly concerned either (33weeks now)....i guess i they were really worried a growth scan would be booked?

Maybe yours is hiding in an awkward position!!! xx

Was it the same midwife who took the measurements?

It's supposed to be the same midwife with the same tape measure for accuracy.

Yep, same midwife, same tape, same bed! no growth scan booked so I guess not that big a deal. She did ask the size of my last baby but as he was prem it didnt really count ( 3lb12 at 32+6 weeks)
