Early Pregnancy Scan Tomorrow :(

I am so worried about my scan tomorrow, i can wish and dream that something will be seen, I am only 4-5 weeks but have been bleeding/spotting since day 1.
Id like to be one of those people who just happens to bleed and everything be ok, just doent feel that way.

If your that early will they even scan you? When i went you had to be over 6 weeks. Before that they won't see a heartbeat which can make you worry more!!
Got my fingers crossed for you but please don't panic if they don't see what your hoping for... Its so early! I went thinking i was 7 weeks but i was actually 5 (spotting like you!) and there was no heartbeat and i cried for the next 10days until my follow up scan... Turns out my little bean was fine!!

They have made the scan on purpose as i only mc 3 months ago and i have hadbleeding since day 1 so i think they may be looking for something else.All im really hoping for is an answer id like to hear about the bleeding not one i dont want to hear, Fingers crossed and toes:)

I had a scan at 5 weeks because of bleeding, having had a mc and erpc 3 months previously, so very similar to you. They didn't find a heartbeat as it was too early, so don't be too worried if your scan doesn't show one either.

My bleeding carried on throughout the first trimester, which was really scary, but the rest of the pregnancy went well and DD is now 3 months old. I hope you get good news too, I know how horrible it is waiting and worrying.

ahh wow,very similar, im not to worried about a heart beat at all just knowing is enough without a blue line lol.

I am four weeks pregnant and have had a bit of light red bleeding that started yesterday and is still very light but there today. This would be my 4 th baby but having had two miscarriages before this pregnancy I am worried. It doesnt matter how many times people tell you that spotting / light bleeding is normal in early pregnancy it is certainly something we could all do without. I have found myself closing my eyes when I wipe myself... Just don't want to see what is going on. I would have thought that the only sensible time for a scan is 6 weeks.... Just not going to be able to confirm much before then. This part is agony and my heart goes out to everyone else in this situation. Perhaps we can all support each other thru it. X

Hi I have also been through this with this pregnancy, this is my 4th pregnancy, I have had 2 miscarriages and have 4 year old ds.
I thought I was around 6 weeks and had started spotting, I had a scan and they couldn't see much, they said I was only about 4 weeks if I was still pregnant. They took blood tests and repeated 48 hours later, my hormones were doubling as normal so they booked me in for a repeat scan which I had yesterday, they said I was now measuring at 5 weeks and could see a heartbeat that was strong.
So it is possible to see something before 6 weeks.
