Just found out I'm pregnant with number two. :)

With second babies, do bumps appear earlier than the first or is that just something I made up? Should I expect to show at say, 10 weeks for example?

I was showing this time by about 6 weeks, but I did early with DS too

And at 31 weeks (now) I'm not far off the size I am in photos of a few weeks before DS was born...

Im 14 weeks with no2 and have a smallish bump but bigger than last time definitely!

Think it depends on how your tummy muscles have recovered but generally yes, you do show earlier. I was quite a lot bigger earlier on, partly as my muscles separated more quickly and partly as I still haven't lost DD1s baby weight! :)

I have lost the baby weight and more, my stomach isn't flat but it's quite slim and I did do a round of 30 day shred last year because my muscles were so awful! That may have helped a bit. Otherwise, I thought my stomach muscles were pretty dire after the c-sec.

I'm 11 weeks and haven't fit comfortably in my clothes for the past couple of weeks. I'm definately showing. Someone at work asked if I was pregnant at 9 weeks! It's ridiculous, I just think it's funny!! I did show early with dc1 too though- definately by about 14 weeks.

I'm at 13 weeks with number 2 and have a tiny little bump but think I am the only one who can see it!! So I am not sure that counts... A friend is a few weeks ahead with her 2nd and is very large already, so who knows.

I was the oppsite - was showing at about 20 weeks with DS1, didn't show until 26 weeks with DS2.

I didn't show til 24 weeks with ds, 2nd time around have made it to 15 weeks and not showing, just as well as we haven't told anyone yet!!!

Congratulations VickityBoo. It took ages for me to show with dc1 maybe around 20 weeks, but this time round it's been really early - about 7 weeks!

I think it depends on the individual pregnancy and baby as well as your tummy muscles being slightly more lax with the 2nd. I'm finding it hard to keep it hidden, it's really obvious in all the clothes I own but I don't feel ready to tell my friends yet. I'm just avoiding people at the mo!

Congratulations! Agree it depends on your stomach muscles, mine were non existent the first time round so with this one I was showing really early. I think a couple of people guessed when I was only 6 weeks but don't forget a lot of it is water retention in the early days.
