I am experiencing and aching lower back most days. hopefully stating oga soon, but what other exercise shall I do that involves DD in the day time other than doing all the carrying and picking up that i do with shopping/pram etc..

I am wondering aquababies should be good?

I just feel quite un fit considering im quite active looking after her on my own!

Also is Aqua natal any good?

Your yoga teacher should be able to give you loads of stretches to do for your back.
My teacher just showed us one where you sit on the floor and someone sits behind you with their legs outstretched and their feet on the base of your back. They then apply pressure with their feet and it feels lush!

As for fitness, I'm 26 weeks and as well as quite an active job and running round after my 2 DCs, i try to get to the gym 4 times a week for gentle CV and walk the dogs nearly every day.

That sounds good. I need to walk more, we drive mostly as most of the things we do are out of the way,
Baby groups, family, shopping etc and nothing is really in walking
Distance.. We do walking when we go to DP's parents.

I just thought that where I'm not doing as much walking in this pregnancy,
However I am active with DD, just wondered if there may be
Much difference in a bad light during the labour..

Well if you can wait until I've had this one I'll let you know if it makes a difference as I was SUPER lazy with both previous!!!

I also keep meaning to (but not quite getting round to it) start doing loads of squats as my yoga teacher (who has a perfect figure, 2 kids and just breathed through each labour so is my new oracle!) says that standing in a squatting position during labour is a good position to be in. At the mo I can handle about 5 seconds of a squat which I figure is not much good to anyone Wink
