That's pretty funny Grin
So what were you watching?!

TheSpreadingChestnutTree · 06/02/2012 19:52

Had your waters broken then? (I realy want to know what film you were watching, but seems polite to ask about your waters)

keely027 · 06/02/2012 19:52

Sorry!! Just presumed since you were still here and posting that they'd not gone!

Midwives do say some strange things!

TheSpreadingChestnutTree · 06/02/2012 20:04

staylucky, hope you didn't think I was implying that you weren't polite Blush

Ooh I love Emily Blunt - was the film any good? Grin
BEST of luck with the impending arrival btw:

keely027 · 06/02/2012 20:19

it was a good film, really intersting idea but ending was a bit lame

Just before Christmas my midwife said to me 'Do you want some condoms?' I gave her a bewildered look thinking ....do I look like I need condoms??!! Then she explained she was a sexual health advisor and we had been talking about my teenage sons and she thought I may want some for them!! to put in their Christmas stockings .....hilarious !!!!!

Yummymummyyobe1 · 07/02/2012 12:46

Perhaps she was asking so she could tell other mums to be about the film as a way to induce labour. Smile

When my DD was born and 1 day home the visiting midwife (who was amazingly loopy anyway) turned the TV up that I had politely put on mute and kept shushing me so she could hear it! I was desperate to know if my DD was ok and I was doing things properly as she was my first and I was a bit worried but couldn't keep her attention!

Was a crap programme I was watching about people who were manic cleaners. Eastenders I could understand the interest in but not that!
