Hi, will be relocating fully to the area in July about 4 weeks before due date. Does anybody have any experience of giving birth in this hospital, in particular the midwife lead unit?

Thanks

I had my dd there, the MLU is lovely, I was in there for a bit but she got a bit twisted and was up against my spine, so I had to go to the labour ward for an epidural. It is very clean and they are helpful, I had my dd on Easter Monday and there was very little staff but was still ok. A trouble free experience, and no horror stories from any friends either. In fact one friend is raising money doing car boot sales for the neo natal unit as her dd was poorly and they were so lovely. Good luck and welcome,!
