A bit of red when I wipe but no cramps....

Should I fear the worst or have I just been overdoing it a bit (been running around after DS all afternoon!)

I'm 6+1 and not booked in with mw yet. Should I call someone?! Any advice gratefully received.

hello peppa don't know but rest (if you can) and yes I would call the labour ward at the hosi? you can speak to a midwife then and get your mind put at ease x

Thank you surfmama, gave them a call and they said to get into to A&E if it gets worse or start cramping. It's calmed down a bit now so fingers crossed I'd just run around a bit too much with DS this afternoon.

Hi peppa I had bleeding about 3/4 times and still have a bit now and then and I'm now 14wks. Could you go to your docs 2moro to see if you can get early scan through epau? Fingers crossed all is well 4 u

PeppaTwig · 06/02/2012 22:13

Seems to be a bit more than just when I wipe now but its not as red. Think I will get a gp appointment tomorrow and see if I can get an epu referral. Is it that easy?

Hi peppa, i'm about 6 weeks I think and have had bleeding on and off for 2 weeks.
I phoned the epac directly and explained and booked a scan so give that a try. I ended up going to a and e last week and they scanned me and was measuring less than should so have a repeat scan tomorrow.
I have found rest really helps stop the bleeding too. Really hope everything goes well. X

PeppaTwig · 06/02/2012 22:32

Thanks jellyspoon hope your scan goes ok tomorrow. Our epu is only open between 11-1 each day and runs by appointment only so not sure I'd get seen until the next day? Will call them at 11 perhaps and see if they'll see me.

Some epu won't self refer. My doc had 2 refer me to see them they will see u if you seem worried or having cramps. X

PeppaTwig · 07/02/2012 08:41

Still bleeding unfortunately. Just waiting for gp to call back with an epu appointment. Will have to start thinking realistically I think. Sad

Well it doesn't look good...
Had one of those internal scans (which was delightful Hmm) and she said she couldn't really see anything. double Hmm
Went in to see the doctor afterwards and he said that the scan was pretty inconclusive and not seeing much might be fine if I'm not as far along as I thought I was. I am however pretty sure of my dates so I was doubtful at this point. Cut a long conversation short I'm having my HCG levels checked today and thursday to see if they're increasing or not so should know more then.
However since then, bleeding has certainly worstened and I have some pretty powerful period type cramps going on so I have pretty much accepted whats going on.
I'm ok though, crying it out but know that its better now than much later and these things happen for a reason.
What I'm battling with now is if I can afford a couple of days off work (self employed) to rest up a bit...

So sorry to hear that Peppa, altho I will keep hopes up for HCG levels proving your fears wrong. Every hope is a hope.
Definitely rest of the week off please.
