Painkillers when pregnant

I'n only a tiny bit pregnant (6+2) and I have managed to catch a cold. That I can live with, but I have had a pounding sinussy headache for the last 16 hours. I've been steaming, and massaging my temples with tiger balm, but I'm not getting any relief.
Is there anything that is safe to take at this point?

Please help...

Paracetamol. And that's pretty much it

you can take paracetomal, it is fine.
Just never take ibprofen or asprin unless advised by your gp.

Sympathies - I'm just getting over a horrible cough/cold. You can take ordinary paracetamol, otherwise carry on with the steaming, eat well and get as much sleep as possible.

You can also sniff Olbas which may help if your sinuses are feeling blocked

Thanks guys, i've just raked out the paracetamol - I thought all painkillers were forbidden, so it's good to know I can have them if I really need to.

Who thought pregnant would be a good idea?
