Any ideas for paint colour for my kitchen, its cream gloss units, walnut worktops and walnut floor?

Do you really want the interior design opinion of a bunch of hormonal women? Obviously, I'm just speaking for myself here but last time I was pregnant, I decided that borders were lovely and I just HAD to have them. Eurgh. Now my son has them round his room. I hate them but am too scared to tell DH cos he cursed every minute of trying to put the damn things up.
