This pregnancy 'feels different' - different gender?

I already have a DS, with him I had no sickness, glowing clear skin, and all over weight gain with a low bump. Most significantly I 'knew' for a fact that he was a boy well before it was confirmed to me! I had the strongest feeling of certainty.

I am 14 weeks with number 2, I have felt (but not been) sick, everything tastes funny, I have horrendous pregnancy acne, and have just started to pop out with a high bump but don't (yet!) seem to have weight gain elsewhere. I also have a girl feeling this time around - during the scan I had my first thought on seeing the baby was 'there she is!'

Not that it matters either way, but just wondering how reliable these differences in pregnancies are - and if you can be 'certain' you're having one gender without really knowing for sure??

i'm the same however i have 3 good friends, one who had 2 perfect pregnancys no different apparently, she has a girl and a boy.

my other 2 friend had one great pregnancy and one awful one and both have 2 boys, its a running joke in our play group :)

oh i have 2 very different pregnancys BTW but am carried them both the same, guess i'll find out in 7 weeks

My 2 pregnancies have been totally different. Result = 2 boys.

Both my pregnancies were very similar, no morning sickness at all, just utterly exhausted. Both had dodgy bits in the middle (possible loss of waters etc) both had odd bouts of other symptoms at the end - RSI pain, bit of SPD, bit anaemic etc.

I have a DD and a DS.

My mum also had one of each and apparantly carried us the same way too.

Two different pregnancies here - results are DS1 and (currently) 7 months pg with DS2. I was convinced that this was a girl from the start but got a good view at our 20 weeks scan to show otherwise.

I felt my second pregnancy was different to my first. I felt very sick, tired, craved different things and had problems with protein in my urine. However I had another boy.
I was convinced both were girls, more so second time round because of how different that pregnancy was.

Hi, You could be describing me. I had exact same in 1st pregnancy although my sense of smell was extremely heightened and to be honest never went away. I had a DS now I am pregnant again I have had awful nausea in first trimester and now at 27 weeks I am all high bump.

I too just knew first time it was a boy and at 12 week scan said 'look at him' this time said 'look at her', sonographer says a girl so maybe your instinct is right.

I have had different symptoms in both pregnancies, ds1 i didn't even know i was pregnant until i developed spd at 22 weeks! didn't have any sickness soreness, was glowing and shiney hair, i always thought i would have a boy first and i did.
This time, ugh, i just feel like a big bag of shite, skin has broken out dry and greasy at the same time, hair falling out, severe spd from 9 weeks, nausea, extremely sore boobs.
As soon as the pregnancy test turned positive i just thought, it's a girl! but everyone thinks it will be a boy, so now im just not sure, we will find out in march, so will announce it on here.
