I'm not even going to read the link, because there is plenty of non proven shit about pregnancy all over the internet. This tends to lead to people coming on here beating themselves up over eating a ham and pineapple pizza or having a glass of tonic water. It's an absolute load of nonsense. Women have been having babies since the beginning of time.

'Why do I do it to myself?' Yet you will quite happily spread it around

Don't worry pixiepud, obviously you didn't meant to cause offence! I've actually completely banned myself from typing any worries into google now. Mumsnet all the way! Google is insane! Steer clear! x

Pixie No offence caused here. I totally understand what you mean. Even my babycentre app message today mentioned a small study which suggested stillbirths were more common in women who didn't sleep on a certain side!! Shock wtf?? Then went on to say that obviously more research was needed in that area to be able to daw any conclusions, Why bloody report on it in the first place then??? I wouldn't have thought a fairly reputable pregnancy & birth website like that would buy into such scaremongering, but there you go!

Thanks girls, that was a lot nicer reception haha. Obviously being a mum and having my second of course i do worry and i dont know whats true and what isn't i was just trying to get views and stuff, everything changes each time.

I just never came across this information when i carried my son 6 years ago and read that and thought, wow, could this be for real? It just worries me that it seems more and more stuff they come out with which we could be doing to harm our child with something so simple as just eating a bag of sweets or as you say MissGiraffe, sleeping on the wrong side lol.

It gets to a point where worrysome mothers to be (like myself) worry about having said bag of sweets and expressing anger and upset in case your causing a lifetime of child behavioural problems. Its cruel.
