VBAC query

Hi all, I am not preggers yet, but have been TTC for a while. In my past I had an ectopic pregnancy where they had to open me the same place as a c-section, then when I had my DD at 27wks by emergency c-section they had to open the same place (and stapled me together due to the previous scarring) anyways, I was wondering whether anyone has had a VBAC after 2 c-sections and how it went. I obviously want to avoid a c-section, not just because of the surgery, but also because I can't have an epidural due to a medical condition so any surgery has to be under a general anaesthetic again.

I haven't, but it is done, 2 or more, it is referred to as VBA2C so you might want to do a search on that.

Did they cut your uterus when you had the surgery for your ectopic pregnancy or are you talking about the skin and abdominal muscles only?

I assume they didn't actually have to cut your uterus with ectopic... As was removal of tube?? This was the case for me anyway. The concerns is uterus scar rupture..... In my case I have I since have emcs with son and going for a vbac with my next dc. I'm 38+1 so hopefully soonish!
Consultant will want to do c section around 40+12 if haven't done it naturally before.
So for you should be fine to have vbac I would think :-)

Thank you so much for the info guys, Madeindevon2 and breatheslowly you are right, it was just the abs and skin they cut for the ectopic and just removed the tube. I hope all goes well and you get the vbac madeindevon2, and thanks for putting my mind at rest.
