did the midwives take to get in touch? I sent my form off Tuesday and haven't heard anything yet and as the pregnancy calculator suggested I was between 10 and 12 weeks gone, I would expect I need to be booked in for scan pretty soon?
Thanks a lot :)

I did all this through my gp. Saw him at about 4 weeks. Got an appointment letter to see mw a month after that. Had booking towards the end of 9 week

If you're that far on already and you want a nuchal translucency scan to screen for Downs then you should get on to them as soon as possible, because they can only do it up to 13 weeks. My experience is that once someone medically qualified has seen your file/letter, things will happen in good time, but your letter could be sitting in some admin's in-tray for a week.

Eek ok, thanks for that, they give us out a stock letter here, with midwives mobile numbers on, so I have sent a text (which is what they ask for on the form!)
Thanks ladies xx
