Non-alcoholic Cobra

I had a couple of bottles of Cobra Zero this weekend. I checked the bottle and it definitely said contains 0.0% alcohol. However, when I checked the bottle again it had the symbol with the pregnant woman drinking and a cross through it on it?? Why is this?? Surely if it is completely alcohol free then it should be ok to drink whilst pregnant?? I'm a bit worried now!

Thanks for putting my mind at ease! I knew I was probably being silly but I'm just so anxious about everything at the minute!! :)

I got ID'd buying Becks Blue! I assumed the check-out girl hadn't noticed what it was, so I said 'Oh, there's no alcohol in it', but she said the packaging contained whatever chip sets off the system to request ID, so she had to ask for it anyway! Madness...but don't worry, they're both definitely safe.

The advice not to drink 'any alcohol' in pregnancy is ridiculous. The guidance changes frequently, and seems to be more about trying to prevent people from drinking excessive amounts (which is clearly bad for baby) and currently it seems the government think it's easier just to tell women not to drink anything. It is of course a completely personal choice, but one alcoholic drink is not in the least bit dangerous. Sounds like the labelling on this product is wrong if it doesn't even have alcohol in it. But seriously a small tipple now and again is nothing to worry about if you don't have other health problems.I look forward to an evening glass of red or some stout (extra iron!). Keeps me sane!

Alcohol free Kopparberg is also lovely if you like a fruity drink.

best alcohol free beer is Sagres Zero - but you can only get it in Portuguese shops and bars I think
