Oh my. Every change seems to send me into panic. last weekend I had a tiny weeny bit of brown in my pants, yesterday I had the same and today I have a sort of dark cream discharge when it is normally yellow. I called mat ward (again!) and they told me it's probably okay, have no pain and feel quite well, just wondered if anyone else has changing discharge to help me feel a bit normal? I had 20 week scan on Friday and everything was great so thought I would have an anxiety break for a while....!

oh go on, please tell me i am not the only one obsessed with my pants? I worry when I can't find a white pair to keep an eye on the colour, am i mental?

No your not mental! At 34 weeks i'm still a knicker checker and still note the colour of discharge! Lol, hope its a habit that passes once i've had baby as it seems the norm now!x

I am currrently 8 weeks and had this same problem from Tuesday afternoon until Saturday lunchtime. It was very scant and light brown. It can be disconcerting at the time but mine stopped and c/m has been clear ever since. Apparently about 70% of women experience this. If you have red blood with clots or cramping then that is the time to worry and see your doctor. I am going for a TV scan on Tuesday to be sure that everything is ok but that is more to put my mind at rest than anything else. I still feel very nauseous, sore boobed and "pregnant" so that is a good sign!
If you are reading this because you're having the same problem, DON'T WORRY because that won't solve anything, just monitor it and be positive and hopeful. All you really can do is wait and ensure you don't do anything to put yourself or your baby at risk.
xx

About 20-22 weeks the amount of discharge you naturally produce increases so it could just be that. There are also the joys of leaky bladder to consider! As long as it's not smelly or bloody you should be fine.
It's just one of the many pregnancy delights that no one warns you about, all worth it though Smile

HI penny that is great news how exciting so lovely to see them isn't it. I have felt mine loads over the last few days which is nice. I like the 'banned from worrying' but despite trying not to worry am feeling shit today, have reposted as mine has changed to pink and am a little freaked out, waiting for mw message... the thing is I know the worry doesn't stop once they're born!!! but it will be a good start!
