SICK of getting the cold

Anyone else constantly getting one cold after another? I am ill again for the third or fourth time in 2 months and it is really beginning to depress me. Never had this when I was pregnant with my son, although I didn't have him to bring them home from nursery I suppose. I feel like I am getting ill once every 3 weeks or so - tedious! I understand the suppressed immune system thing, perhaps I have just been very unlucky this winter.
I have taken paracetamol when the achyness has been too much but I am feeling CRAP. Will this get any better? Am 21 weeks now if it makes a difference.

There is a virus around at the moment which takes 6-8 weeks to clear up, it seems to recur just as you think it is going, x

snap!!! Drivibg me insaine started after xmas and just wont go some days I feel terrible other days just a very sore runny nose and headache!
My lityle gitlie has had it since xmas eve too poor thing doc said its lasting about 8 werks!

Really? My 8 weeks must be up surely?! I had a stomach bug around the beginning of December, a cold round about the 12th dec - 19th, another cold the beginning of januaryish and another one one now. I wonder if it is all the same virus?
I am utterly miserable today, like in tears in bed miserable, I'm just so bored of being unwell and feeling tired and crappy. I know that lots of people have much worse things to deal with and I need to stop feeling sorry for myself tbh.

Unfortunately that does sound like it, there's not much you can do except rest and keep your fluid level up, its bad enough when not pregnant, hugs, x

i have it too. coughing since xmas day getting so fed up

I had an awful cold that developed into a chest infection I felt awful for 8 weeks. Now I have another cold, it is so annoying.
