Thanks to everyone who commented on my previous thread and put my daughter's mind at rest a bit in relation to her first scan yesterday. And I suppose the subject line gives the story away Grin!!!! She's a week further on than she thought, 14 weeks, and both babies have their own umbilical cords and sacs (or apartments as her partner refers to them!) and it seems that's the best combination to have.

She's seeing the consultant next Friday by which time we might have got our heads around things!!!

Well, THE event happened on Wednesday of this week (18th July) when my daughter gave birth by C section to a girl, 6lbs 1.5 oz and a boy, 7lbs 8.5 oz. All are doing well and my daughter is now determined to lose weight so she can be the best mum she can to her children.

All in all, there were no major problems during the pregnancy, apart from one of the sonographers struggled to get measurements.

The latest twigs on my family tree make me smile every time I think about them. I have so many cuddles and smiles to come, I can't believe my luck. I'm one happy Granny! xx

It's been a wonderful whirlwind of a year - best of luck to you all and the beautiful babies and enjoy those cuddles Smile
