Pregnancy test help please.

Took a pregnancy test the other day even tho i think it was to early to test. It came up negative before the three minutes. So throw it in bathroom bin. Anyway i went to empty bin today and noticed that there was a faint positive sign! So do i take it that it was negative or leave it a few days and test again?

Test again. They're only reliable if it comes up positive within the time limit. If it's a faint line it could just be the marking of where the dye is/evaporation line rather than a positive.

Sorry guys seems this post was added twice by this stupid phone. Thanks for all the advice. I will test again next week.

I think you should retest sooner than next week! Do a new one first thing tomorrow morning, or this evening if you have a good test and you can hold it in for a few hours to get a good sample.
Then keep the test for a full ten minutes before you throw it away.
If it actually was a faint positive the other day you should get a clear result by now.

I did that I took a test but didn't wait till the whole time was up and just thought it was negative so put it in a draw (don't ask why) 2 days later went back and it was VERY positive, I ended up taken about 6 more and all came back positive. Am now 38 weeks and waiting for our arrivle.
I would deffo say do another one.
