Ive just done a pregnancy test as im a few days late and am thrilled that I'm finally pregnant after a miscarriage 2 years ago.

Just a bit concerned that I've got this dull ache on my left hand side. Just under my belly. Is this normal? It not painful. Just..there.

I would try not to worry at this point. There are lots and lots of crampy pains over the next few days/weeks at your stage as the uterus stretches a bit and things get going.

I had an ectopic pregnancy a while back and the pains from that didn't start until a couple of weeks after the positive test. They were not one-sided just general abdominal pain. Prior to that I do remember having some sharp shooting pains on the side of the ectopic in the early stages, but not a dull ache.

Keep an eye on it and go to the docs for reassurance if it continues for long or gets worse, but yours could simply be indigestion! Good luck with the pregnancy and congratulations.

Both of my pgs started like that. With the first the Dr wanted me to go in for a scan to check it wasn't ectopic, but with the second I knew that it was fairly common.

Congratulations!

My PG with this little one started like that, I think it is your body getting ready for the months ahead. xx
